Enable or disable display of the delete confirmation message dialog box in Windows

This shows you how to avoid having to confirm a file deletion. You will no longer have to see: Are you sure you want to send 'Windows file' to the Recycle Bin?

  1. On the desktop, right-click the Recycle Bin, and then click Properties.
  2. Clear the Display delete confirmation dialog check box.

If you want to enable the display of the delete confirmation message than in step 2 you would check the confirmation dialog check box.
