You may have accidentally installed Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) through windows automatic updates. Or you realized that some of your programs stopped working because of IE 7. For example QuickBooks 2005 stops working if you have IE 7.
Here is an easy way to remove Internet Explorer 7 and get back to Internet Explorer 6. This method works for both Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs.
- Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
